Horse Walkers

We have two high-spec Monarch Exercisers commonly known as horse walkers equipped with advanced electronic controls, twin timers, auto-reverse functions, electrified pushers, and assisted braking systems.

These walkers form an integral part of each horse’s training routine. They are used for warming up and cooling down before and after work, helping to prevent injury and supporting horses in rehabilitation. They also play a key role in building muscle tone and improving strength without the need for ridden exercise.

Lunging Pen

Our lunging pen features a top-of-the-line Monarch design and is surfaced with a premium wax-coated synthetic footing from Equestrian Surfaces. Manufactured using a highly advanced process, each particle is molecularly bonded within a wax coating, creating a root-like structure that closely mimics turf. This allows horses to work on top of the surface rather than into it, enhancing both safety and performance.

The lunging pen is a vital part of our daily routine, supporting the fitness and education of our horses. It also plays an important role in breaking and schooling young horses, and serves as a safe turnout space where horses can stretch their legs and unwind.

Turnout Paddocks

We firmly believe that horses should live as naturally as possible, which is why we provide numerous paddocks used daily to turnout as many horses as possible. Regular turnout is essential for promoting a positive mental state and enhancing the overall attitude of each horse. Additionally, we offer full grass livery for those seeking a more natural lifestyle for their horses.

Our paddocks vary in size to accommodate all needs from smaller paddocks perfect for mares and foals during initial turnout or injury recovery, to larger paddocks designed for herd turnout. All paddocks are securely fenced with horse rail and netting, with many featuring shelters to ensure the safety and well-being of every horse in our care.

Gallops

Our training facilities boast a 5.5-furlong sand and fibre oval gallop, seamlessly connected to a 5-furlong uphill polytrack sprint. This versatile setup is ideal for developing fitness and can be adapted to suit the needs of hunters, eventers, racehorses, or newly backed young horses. It plays a crucial role in preparing horses for future competition.
